Mackenzie Shield
The Mackenzie Shield was presented to the county by the Hon. Datine Mackenzie, Chief Commissioner for Malaya. It was won in its first year by 1st Haddington Guides.
The competition is held biannually for Guide Units.
County Flag Competition
The County Flag Competition started in 1919. It was won the first time by Saltoun Company.
The competition is held bi-annually for Guide Units.
Mackenzie Silver Salver
Mrs Mackenzie donated a Silver Salver to the County in 1993. Brownie units compete to win the salver bi-annually.
Evlyn Anderson Shield
Following the untimely death of Evlyn Anderson, County Commissioner for East Lothian from 1989-1993, her family presented the County with the Evlyn Anderson Shield which is competed for annually in turn by all sections. The competition is based on the Arts, one of Evlyn’s loves.
The 2017 winner 1st Belhaven Guides.
