It was not long ago the units recently celebrated the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebration night. 9th Musselburgh Brownie Unit designed their birthday cakes for the County competition.

Dunbar Guides and Rangers remembered The Queen at their Wednesday meeting, thinking about our Patron and the Promise. We looked at the Commonwealth Badge, The Queen’s Guide award, stamps, coins and the Royal Warrant. We also sang Taps around a decorated candle.

Leader Jo was interviewed by the Daily Telegraph on the Royal Mile after watching the Queen’s coffin pass by and also signed the Book of Condolence at Girlguiding Scotland HQ (pictures below) bumping into the new Chief Guide Elaine Rough, who’d had a busy week.
